Greek Myths: From Artemis to Zeus

March 15 – March 15, 2014

Directed by Kim Douthit

Come for a journey back to Ancient Greece, where classic myths are brought to life. From an impulsive king named Midas, to Eos, the goddess of the dawn, falling in love with a cricket this play will delight, amuse and enlighten everyone. With a traditional chorus to help create the stories the audience will learn the tale of how Artemis got revenge on the giants, Ephialtes and Otus or how Sisyphus learned not to play such mean tricks on people. Whether it’s the first time or the fifth time you have heard these and other stories, this production is sure to please with it’s energy, humor and story telling.

Performances: March 15 at 2pm and 5pm

A Child’s Christmas in Wales & The Long Christmas Dinner

December 5 – December 5, 2013

Celebrate the joy of magic, family, and memories with two short plays for the Christmas holidays:
 
A Child’s Christmas in Wales – Adapted from the poem by Dylan Thomas. Back again for the 2013 Holiday season! Celebrate the magic of Dylan Thomas’ childhood Christmas. Featuring youth and adult performers.
The Long Christmas Dinner – This human, tender play journeys the lives of several generations of the Bayard family, and some of their Christmas dinners. It is a serious play lightened with humor of character, containing a moving quality that is both appealing and forceful.

The performance runs Friday – Saturday evenings at 7:30pm, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2pm from December 5 – December 22, and 12:30 and 4pm performances on December 23 and 24, with a $12.50 preview on December 5. General admission prices are $20 –$25. Group rates apply to 4 or more admission tickets.
